Planning projects

Projects funded by the European Union and the World Bank have placed a significant emphasis on a variety of essential domains, particularly focusing on areas such as cultural heritage, urban development, farm management, event coordination, peacebuilding, and conservation efforts. These vital initiatives are meticulously designed not only to preserve historical landmarks and cultural artifacts but also to actively celebrate and promote the rich tapestry of cultural heritage that defines communities. By recognizing and emphasizing the importance of cultural identity within urban environments, these projects aim to foster a sense of belonging and pride among residents.

Moreover, these initiatives encourage sustainable urban growth, ensuring that development does not come at the expense of the environment. By safeguarding essential ecosystems and biodiversity, they contribute to both environmental sustainability and the richness of cultural narratives that shape identities. Through substantial investments across these diverse areas, the European Union and the World Bank demonstrate their unwavering commitment to achieving a harmonious balance between contemporary development and the intricate cultural landscapes of the regions they serve.

This thoughtful and strategic approach ensures that future generations will have the invaluable opportunity to appreciate, engage with, and learn from their shared history. By promoting an understanding of cultural roots, these initiatives foster a deeper connection to identity, all while navigating the complexities and challenges presented by modern society. Our Projects

Tehuledere and Lake Hayk Heritage Sites

The concept of a cultural satellite account holds great significance for Ethiopia, a nation rich in diversity and cultural heritage. It is essential to systematically map the country's various cultural resources, which encompass everything from traditional arts and crafts to music, dance, and local customs. Through this comprehensive mapping process, valuable cultural statistics will be extracted, providing a clearer picture of the vibrant cultural landscape. This enhanced understanding of Ethiopia's cultural resources will be instrumental for government bodies, local communities, and private organizations alike. By recognizing and appreciating the importance of this sector, they will be better equipped to engage in effective planning and to design projects that not only preserve these cultural assets but also promote them as catalysts for economic growth and community development.
